Dr. Alice Chung is an exceptional doctor with high competence and empathy. She truly cares about her patients and is very responsive.
Dr. Chung asks great questions and ultimately gives some practical advice. Her manner invites openness and candor.
Good sharing of different versions of refill of lotion. Could have spend a bit more focus time. Cut short by knowing on door to hurry up.
Good.
Dr. Chung was attentive and caring. She was detailed in her explanations.
Dr. Chung was exceptionally attentive to details. She took her time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. The nitrogen treatment she provided gave me immediate relief.
Dr. Chung is super friendly. she is also very professional. She is an awesome lister she really cares about my worries.
She cares and I appreciate that.
I am happy with my doctor's caring manner and discernment of my health. I believe she is very understanding and intuitive of my overall health status, and I am very pleased with the excellent advice she gave me. \
For the first time to the Stanford Medical Center, I am very happy to meet Dr. Chung. She can listen and explain to me seriously and patiently, and give me answers one by one. I feel I've come to the right place. Thank you Dr. Chung!
My doctor Alice Chung was very professional and caring. She explained to me what she tested for throughout the process.
Dr. Chung is caring & thorough. I sensed she cared about my overall well being.
Dr. Chung was patient and a good listener, but there was no resolution to the problem I was having. I don't blame her for not knowing, but there was no real diagnosis or actionable follow-up to determine the cause of my symptoms (which still persist today). It was an expensive out-of-pocket visit, but I may as well have never came in to be seen.
She was very attentive, empathetic, and overall amazingly kind & warm. I appreciated her approachable and warm attitude so very much.
I love my doctor, so happy we fou d her, she puts me at ease.
This is my very first visit to the Express Clinic and my very impression was very good toward the Dr. Alice Chung. She listened to my complaints and gave me a very good advice.
Very good.
Again excellent is a better option -- Dr. Chung strongly urged me to go to Stanford Emergency Room -- and she was so right -- but I couldn't get there on my own and my spouse couldn't manage me since I was too weak to walk. They called an ambulance and that too was the right thing to do.
Very thorough exam.
good
Very thorough explanation and discussion. answered all questions & is very friendly
Dr. Chung is first rate.
Dr. Chung is great. Takes the time to listen and speaks to you like an intelligent adult. Great bedside manner.
Really great care. everyone considerate and helpful. Great culture.
Very understanding and taking time to listen to me. It was easy to follow the doctors advice. As non native speaker, the medical terms were of course hard to understand, but the doctor did not seem to mind if I stopped her when I did not follow her well.
Dr. was very patient & had researched my case a little before seeing us. Very thorough & thoughtful. Nice lady too.
I went in for burns. I was in a lot of pain and felt like the doctor did not show signs of empathy and was moving slowly when I asked if I could get something like ice for pain.
I spend time with the doctor with great attention and details.
Dr. Chung is very patient with me explaining the concern I had. I like her.
a ver good place for serious illness
I scheduled an appointment with an ankle problem in mind. During the waiting period I developed a long-lasting cold (approximately 2 months) and a severe back pain (approximately 8 out of 10), which were not addressed.
I felt like the doctor spent time with me and listened carefully. I came in with an injured toenail and I thought it would be examined. The doctor looked at it and maybe that's all she needed to do for her assessment. However, it did feel like maybe I didn't need to come in. I had scheduled the appointment at the request of the advice nurse and had felt that there would be a more thorough examination because of the urgency they expressed in me needing to come in.
The doctor was very efficient with me. She gave me all her attention and more. I am very satisfied with her service...
my doctor was truly the best! I haven't met anyone like her at Stanford heathy care yet. she was very patient with me, very clear of the procedures and results, and kept her promises (gave me a call with blood work and it's results the day she said she would). I only wish I had this doctor as my personal doctor!
Dr. Chung was great, but I felt a little like she wasn't confident in how to treat / advise me. I had to suggest an OTC medication instead of one she wanted to prescribe, and had to initiate a question about how it might interact with something I was already taking. My diagnosis wasn't quite clear to me but I did follow her advice and felt better after a few days.
Dr. Chung immediately sent me to the ER which was the best decision given the urgency of the situation. She was calm, patient, and effective as a care provider.
Good.
Dr. Chung is a great addition to the Ladera medical staff.
I hate saying this, but I don't feel like I was heard. I asked about rotator cuff injury and it was as if she didn't hear me and did a cursory check and ordered an x-ray, which came back just fine. Printed out a handout on shoulder pain. Offer of muscle relaxer and sent me on my way. Reviewed her notes on MyHealth and had to correct them because she did not represent the issues accurately. She seemed off - like something had upset her prior to her coming in to talk with me.
She was great! I felt so fortunate -
Good experience -
Dr. is a wonderful lady who seems very competent, intelligent and caring. Yet my infection and pain was not attended to on day of visit. I was told shots would be fine. no illness, i was told. yet i have been very ill for 4 days after shots.
