Ground floor renovation at hospital
Significant renovation work is beginning on the ground floor of the hospital. It will include the expansion of the pneumatic tube system, renovation and expansion of the waste dock, loading dock and material management area. The pneumatic tube expansion will occur in the Atrium, D, E and F Patient Unit corridors from mid-November through April 2015. The waste and material management work is scheduled to begin in December and continue through mid-2017. Full article attached.

New Secure Messaging Application for your SmartPhone

In collaboration, Stanford Health Care, Stanford Children’s Health and Stanford School of Medicine are pleased to announce the launch of Spok Mobile, a secure messaging and pager replacement application for iOS and Android devices. Spok Mobile is fully integrated with existing Pager IDs, reliable, easy to use, and HIPAA compliant.
The Spok Mobile app offers the ability to:
- Search Stanford’s paging directory
- Receive and send messages to any other paging recipient
- Reply to other Spok Mobile users and confirm receipt
- Securely share pictures and videos
- Customize alerts for the pages you receive
