The Stanford Cancer Institute is a collaborative Stanford Medicine enterprise made up of Stanford Health Care, Stanford University School of Medicine and Stanford Children's Health. Top-rated programs in more than 30 biomedical specialties—including cancer biology, genomics, immunotherapy, bioinformatics, stem cell medicine and bioengineering—are delivering insights that have changed how cancer is diagnosed, treated and prevented.

These collaborative partnerships mean that scientific findings are rapidly translated into comprehensive, streamlined care at the Stanford Cancer Center and at the Bass Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Diseases.
Stanford Cancer Institute is one of the few NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the United States. This designation recognizes the Institute's scientific rigor across its laboratory research and clinical assessments of treatments.
