I was extremely nervous about this appointment, but her empathy and positive attitude immediately put my mind at ease.

Dr. Shannon made special arrangements to see me even though she was completely booked as she thought my case could be something which need to be studied to eliminate any serious possibilities. She too time in understanding my problem & explained the possibilities Dr. Shannon was the first doctor who cold figure out that there is a link between my neck. Base of the skull -> ear to right eye pain to redness in my right eye. I have been to many doctors prior to visiting Shannon. And one of them suspected any link between redness in my one eye with pressure/pain only on one side of neck. (I am glad I took an appointment in Stanford.

Dr. Beres is one of the GOOD ones. Excellent in every way - & runs a great lab.
I left with many questions. Prognosis not discussed. Recommended follow-up appt. not scheduled when I checked out. (I will call to schedule).
I was very impressed with the thoroughness of Dr. Beres and her team. I really felt I was in the hand of a specialist who cared about my problems.
Dr. Beres had excellent people skills.
