The Office of the Associate Chief Nursing Informatics Officer (ACNIO) aims to lead innovation and create infrastructure to emerging technology, practice, and research. As part of the Office of the Patient Care Services (PCS) division, the office of the ACNIO is committed to navigating the impacts of technology in our healthcare environments, making sure our goals are aligned with the daily work. The Nursing Innovation & Informatics (Nii) team is responsible for ensuring technology adoption is put through a thoughtful, yet rigorous process, emphasizing the value it brings. The primary vision of the Office of the ACNIO is to ensure there is balance between the need for technology while enhancing that experience for our healthcare teams, patients, and families at Stanford.
