Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT): Peggy's story

Peggy had pain and swelling in her leg when she tried to exercise, which was caused by deep vein thrombosis (DVT). DVT may occur when a blood clot develops in a vein deep in the body. Lawrence "Rusty" Hofmann, MD, an interventional radiologist at Stanford Health Care, discusses treatments of DVT with Peggy.
