Practice Greenhealth Award Application for RWC and Reusable Product Pilot/Implementation
Project Description
Rachel gathered information to complete the Practice Greenhealth Environmental Excellence Award Application for RWC.
Rachel observed the practice of single-use vs reusable O2 sat (pulse oximeter) probes in the Outpatient Surgery Center at RWC.
Impact
- As a result of Rachel’s qualitative assessment and support in the Practice Greenhealth application, RWC won the “Partner for Change Award.”
- Review of the use of reusable vs single use O2 sat probes at RWC
- Project plan for reusable gel pillows to replace single use yellow foam with summary of findings from pilot
