This was an outstanding experience. Meeting with Dr. Waltuch for the first time was exceptional. We reviewed my past medical, and any ongoing history that was and is pertinent to my health. as well as what I need to do in the future to maintain and excel in my own health care. She saw I was having problems with my wrist. I thought it was a sprain that happened 4 weeks ago. She examined and identified it was a break. Dr. Waltuch made immediate arrangements for x-rays, upon immediate review I returned to her office where she promptly slid my hand/arm into a brace, informed me of the x-ray results and ithat my next step would be meeting with a hand surgeon which she is overseeing. I had some strange symptoms. I spent almost a year at Stanford with the Specialists but had no improvement at all. Dr. Waltuch ordered some new tests and an inhaler for me to try that nobody had thought of. My symptoms went away like after a week or so after trying the inhaler. I'm so grateful and thankful that she let me try something new. My awful symptoms that lasted for a year went away like magic. She's, also, very understanding and caring. She helped me get a sample of the inhaler to try before I invest $300 for it. She had her assistant called me to remind me of what to watch for and told me when to check into to Emergency room if certain symptoms appear... so on. Very caring.
