Wound and Ostomy Team
The Wound and Ostomy Team consists of nurses who are board certified in wound and ostomy care. They act as a consultant to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of patients with wound, ostomy, and fistula issues. They provide resources and education for patients, families, and staff. The highly trained team leads the hospital-wide pressure injury prevention program and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams on quality improvement initiatives.

Vascular Access/PICC Team
The Vascular Access/PICC Team consists of nurses who are board certified vascular access specialist. They have advanced knowledge in insertion techniques, clinical care, and management of vascular access devices. Our highly skilled staff collaborates with interdisciplinary care teams to provide optimal, evidence-based vascular access care for patients. It is especially significant to establish a reliable access for critically ill patients who need frequent blood sampling, vasoactive medications, rapid fluid resuscitation, and prolonged antibiotic treatment.
