The Autonomic Disorders Program provides care for autonomic nervous system disorders. Our doctors are among a few specialists worldwide with the expertise to diagnose and treat autonomic disorders. The program also offers one of the most comprehensive autonomic testing laboratories in the nation.
Our doctors are renowned for their highly specialized expertise and experience in autonomic disorders, a rare specialty. Only about 150 doctors worldwide have the expertise level needed to diagnose and treat autonomic disorders. The autonomic disorders team takes the time to perform a thorough exam, understand your condition, listen to your concerns, and helps you find answers.
Many individuals with autonomic disorders also have other neurologic conditions like neuromuscular and movement disorders, heart issues, and arrhythmias, amyloidosis, digestive issues, and problems with sleep. Stanford Health Care offers all of the specialists and expertise you need in one hospital to manage your full range of care needs and lifelong continuity of care.
