Symptoms of Coarctation of the Aorta
What Are the Symptoms of Coarctation of the Aorta?
Symptoms noted in early infancy are caused by moderate to severe aortic narrowing. Most adolescents or young adults may have no symptoms. Others may present with hypertension, chest pain, claudication, or headaches.
The symptoms of coarctation of the aorta may resemble other medical conditions or heart problems. Always consult your physician for a diagnosis.
