Pheochromocytoma
What is a Pheochromocytoma?
A rare, usually benign, tumor that secretes substances producing symptoms such as hypertension, palpitations, flushing, headache and tremor. Pheochromocytomas most often arise from cells of the adrenal gland. Specific anti-hypertensive medications or surgery are recommended to treat this condition.
