Hodgkin Lymphoma: About this Condition
Risk Factors for Hodgkin Lymphoma
The causes of hodgkin lymphoma aren’t known. A risk factor is anything that increases the chance that you will get a condition.
Risk factors for hodgkin lymphoma include:
- A weakened immune system (called a compromised immune system) because of another condition or illness, or because of treatments that suppress the immune system
- Previous radiation therapy
- Previous lymphoma
Clinical Trials for Hodgkin Lymphoma
Clinical trials are research studies that evaluate a new medical approach, device, drug, or other treatment. As a Stanford Health Care patient, you may have access to the latest, advanced clinical trials.
Open trials refer to studies currently accepting participants. Closed trials are not currently enrolling, but may open in the future.
