What Is Peyronie's Disease?
Peyronie's disease is a connective tissue disorder of the thickened tissue surrounding the penile erectile bodies (i.e. tunica albuginea). Resultant scars can lead to penile pain, curvature, shortening, indentation, and erectile dysfunction. Studies estimate that Peyronie's disease affects up to 10 percent of all men.
