Conditions Treated - Gluten Free Diet
Conditions Treated
- Celiac disease (also known as celiac sprue)
- Non-celiac gluten sensitivity: Similar to celiac disease, you experience symptoms when consuming foods with gluten.
Celiac disease and non-celiac gluten sensitivity may sound similar, but they are two completely different conditions. Both cause similar symptoms. The difference lies in how you respond to the celiac antibody test:
- If you test positive and we detect damage in the lining of your small intestine, you have celiac disease.
- If you test negative, you have non-celiac gluten sensitivity.
