Macular Degeneration Symptoms
The symptoms you may experience and their timing depend on the type of macular degeneration affecting your eyesight and its severity. Symptoms include:
- Blurred, hazy or distorted vision
- Need for bright light to see up close
- Dull colors or different appearance of colors for each eye
- Difficulty seeing when lighting changes (like stepping indoors)
- Blank or dark areas in central vision
- Loss of central vision
- Trouble recognizing faces
- Objects appear different sizes in each eye
